What is Polibeam?Polibeam is a patented, pre-insulated uPVC structural beam — a direct, independently tested alternative to concrete beam and block ground floor flooring in new build housing. Structure and insulation are built into a single component, pre-finished and ready for a screed or timber deck finish.
Concrete beam and block works, but its manufacture, transport and separate on-site insulation stage carry cost, time and waste. Polibeam arrives pre-finished and pre-insulated, and fits the support conditions already used on site — no specialist skills required.

Structural testing by Lucideon Limited confirms Polibeam meets Eurocode 1 deflection, point load and impact requirements for domestic flooring. One UK patent is granted for the core beam design, with three further patent and design applications pending, and Agrément Certification now underway.
